Privacy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
This statement explains which personal data Lisséa collects when you visit this website or place an order, why, and what your rights are. It is written in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for customers in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who is responsible?
Lisséa, Geneva, Switzerland
Email: contact@lissea.org
You can also write to us via the Contact page.
2. What data do we collect?
- Contact details: name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number if you provide it.
- Order: products purchased, amount, date, history of your orders and returns.
- Payment: payment method used and payment confirmation. Card numbers are processed directly by the payment provider; we have no access to them.
- Messages: what you write to us via the contact form or by email.
- Browsing: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, collected automatically through cookies.
3. Why do we use this data?
- To process your order, payment, delivery, returns and customer service.
- To send you emails about your order (confirmation, shipping, tracking).
- To run the website, keep it secure and prevent fraud.
- To meet our legal obligations, in particular accounting obligations.
- To send you offers by email, only if you have agreed to it. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
4. Who do we share your data with?
We do not sell your data. We only share it with the providers needed for your order:
- Shopify, which hosts the store (servers in Canada, the United States and Ireland, among others).
- The payment providers you choose at checkout.
- Our supplier and the carriers: our products are shipped directly by our supplier, based in China. We only share your name, shipping address, phone number if provided, and the product ordered, so that the parcel can be sent.
- Authorities, if required by law.
5. Transfers abroad
Some of these recipients are located outside Switzerland, in countries whose laws do not always provide an equivalent level of protection (in particular China and the United States). These transfers are necessary to fulfil your order (Art. 17 FADP) or are covered by standard contractual clauses, for example at Shopify.
6. Cookies
The website uses the cookies needed for it to work (cart, payment, security) as well as statistics cookies provided by Shopify. You can block or delete them in your browser settings; some features, such as the cart, may then stop working.
7. How long do we keep your data?
Order data is kept for 10 years, as required by Swiss accounting law. Messages sent via the contact form are kept for as long as needed to reply to you. Other data is deleted once it is no longer needed.
8. Your rights
You can ask us at any time:
- what data we hold about you, and to receive a copy;
- to correct or delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- to stop using it for advertising;
- to provide it to you in a common format.
To do so, write to us at contact@lissea.org. If you believe we are not respecting your rights, you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, www.edoeb.admin.ch) or, if you live in the European Union, the data protection authority in your country.
9. Changes
We may update this statement. The date at the top of the page shows the version currently in force.
